Once u have enough u should start to see your character upgrade rather quickly once u start opening the blue canisters and boxes laying about. Essentially, kill the enemies to gain $. The game does almost zero hand holding, trust I’m still figuring out many aspects of the game. Definitely play around with the characters available to suit your style of play as well as introduce you to the varying styles of play it provides. I’m far from an expert but the game eventually clicked for me. The game emits a very weird vibe, literally everything is trying to kill u at all times.
